Interested in a knife database...

I am in the process of building an Access database to log all the details of my knives. Has anyone out there done this already? I would not like to reinvent the wheel. If not, does anyone have any ideas of features that would be good?

Thanks Mike, as I do not wish to purchase software (I am a developer) the screenshot from this program has given me some ideas. I think I will develop my own version with an access database backend.
Would you be interested in trying it out when I am done?

You bet! Check out this thread, and scroll to the last post where I describe my database. It's worked out very well for me so far, plus I've built a few simple reports since then too.
