I was at the Concord Mill Outlet in Concord, NC this w/e. While there, I stopped by the knife shop and found a Benchmade with an Axis lock, brass interframe (or it looks like one) with rosewood inlays and a rosewood spacer. The price was over $200. Does anyone know what model this was? I've never seen or heard of it before.

It is a 710-01. Limited edition. I believe there were 50 prototypes and an additional 300 numbered production pieces.

I borrowed the pic from the Benchmade forum.

That's it. Man, it's purty. I was disapointed in the fit/finish though. There were som small gaps in the spacer to frame fit. It was as if someone sanded the spacer too much and rounded off the edges. It wasn't bad, but not good on a $200+ knife. For $120 or so, it would be fine.
