I think I found it. It's probably a knock-off of the "SCHUTZ-MARKE".

Welcome, your post is right on topic. I believe "SCHUTZ-MARKE" is equivalent to "TRADEMARK" in English. Your axe has a Wiebelhaus trademark. I don't know the name of the model. Nice axe!

I have tried to heat treat it, and it melted... All I was using was cheap charcoal and a hairdryer. R.I.P wiebelhaus axe
