Interesting Buck knife in Levine's forum

yes thanks for the link!
a very good read
there were a number of family members that worked for Al Buck
at some time before the incorporation in the 60's
dang i got that info in me little brain some ware..
thinking thinking.. oh my...
AH HA ! i knew it !!!
i found a G Buck that i remembered as reference for my
future book about Buck Knives..
this is excerpts from a source dated around 1982 about
Al Buck's 6 brothers and sisters

First came Al Buck, ...
The second child, Gladys,..
Then there was Dorothy...

"George was next. He is described as being quick-tempered,
and would always get into scrapes.
George was impulsive and would act without thinking,
but inside he had a heart of gold. ..
He became a prominent businessman in California before he retired. "

The fifth child was Roland...
After Roland, came Margaret.
Last into the family came Walt Buck.....Walt Buck is now the pastor of the First Assembly of God Church in Spokane, Washington.

hummm ...worth a note this is right across the river from Post Falls, ID

Chuck CJ or Joe would you'all care to comment if there is any notations of George having ever worked in Al's shop?

G Buck is no relation to the Buck Knife Company. If I remember right, they were made in another country but I could be wrong on that.

I didn't think it looked like a BKI knife. It's not the same quality as BKIs.
