Interesting Busse Bolo

This Bolo was made sometime ago by Jerry and originally designed to be what later became the Aftershock.

Unfortunately, the current Aftershock design was chosen over this "one of a kind". The owner later sent it out and had a Japanese water wheel sharpen the blade - same people sharpen surgical instruments. Needless to say, it is extremely sharp.

Andrew, she handles just like a pint of Guiness! Smooth, smooth, smooth!!!

The only thing that the Aftershock has on this puppy is that you can use a log baton and not worry about chewing the baton to shreds! The hollow ground edge is not sharpened (or wasn't when I had her) but it is enough to ruin a pefectly good log lol!!!

Strabs, upon reading your post I was first jealous that you had pics of my "lady", than realized that it was only a Bolo - although a special one - at that !
