Interesting Declaration Found on Fenix's Website

Heh, CC got "outed" in a big way. I think PhotonBoy comments are dead-on as well.

*shrug*

I think it's ridiculous for any Chinese manufacturer to be complaining about American business practices, when their industry is overstuffed with the biggest ripoff artists around.

CountyComm will continue to get my unhesitating support.

Sounds more to me like Fenix is trying to hold all dealers to a minimum price point. CountyComm is refusing to comply, thus incurring the wrath of Fenix. I suspect if you dissasembled a Fenix from an "authorized dealer" and one from CountyComm there would be absolutely no difference.

Besides, if what Fenix is saying is true then they would very quickly sue for patent infringement. My take on this is that Fenix using this self-serving BS to hold their prices up.

digdeep, I agree with you, and I don't even blame Fenix for doing it. Benchmade and Chris Reeve have the same policy.

But going public with a declaration like that is demeaning. If they really object, notify CountyComm personally or cut off sales to them, and to whoever they're buying from.

Or is CountyComm's source too powerful to antagonize!? ha ha ha ha ha

I dont see the point? It is still cheaper to order from the fenix store with free shipping, then it is to buy for a few bucks less, and pay for UPS.

It's not so easy to find out which distributor is selling to CC. If you reference all the stuff that happened to Arc, you'll see the same exact thing happened.

CC has a history of dumping product.

That's what discount houses do. As long as they didn't steal the product in the first place, why is it wrong?

Countycomm offered them to CPFers for $30. The Fenix store was still selling them for $42 at the time. This kind of makes me want to steer clear of Fenix.:thumbdn:
