Interesting document

I havn't seen that, but I agree 100% with this dude! thank God Buck is trying to bring some of the china made knives back to the USA. As far as being collectable I don't think so that's the whole reason for chinese production, mass production of knives! Knives made for the shoppers who don't want to shell out the sometimes higher price for a quality buck knife made with PRIDE here in the USA . I for one will only buy USA Bucks, not that the chinese bucks are lacking in quality they just aren't American! All you Buck employees don't take this personal I am a buisness man myself and know All about the "bottom line". This is why I am glad that American buck knives can still be bought at reasonable prices and unheard of quality. Keep up the good work!

Are the China made Bucks collectable? I suppose it would depend on who you ask and how you define collectable. I've known people who collect all kinds of weird, common place things, and those things were very special to them.

Things only need to be "collectable" to the person doing the "collecting", not to anyone else. I don't think they are collectable, but when I first started my interest in knives, I bought all kinds from all over the world. They were inexpensive and really got me started and that lead me into something a little more collectable.:):):) Like USA made Bucks!

Interesting read.
He needs to update the chinese listing though. The 759 Metro and the 285 Bantams are made here now. The 284 will be in production here shortly.

He's about three years behind on the years symbols also. I have no idea when he put this together.
