I had a fascinating exchange with Sentry Solutions today. Figured I'd share:

Hello.

If Tuff-Glide can be used to wet the Tuff-cloth,
why isn't there a liquid version of Marine-Tuff Cloth?

My own home testing shows that there is a big difference in
performance in Marine Tuff Cloth over the regular, and I wish
you sold the active ingredient of Marine Tuff Cloth in a bottle.
Why not?

Thanks for your support. While there are additional ingredients in Marine
Tuf-Cloth not found in Tuf-Glide; Tuf-Glide can be used to re-charge the
MTC.

Tuf-Cloths are designed and based on the fact that the active ingredients
are held within the fibers of the cloth. The carrier simply makes the
transfer of active ingredients easier. This is why even a dry Tuf-Cloth will
work but puts down a much thinner film and requires more "elbow grease".

The number of times TUF-CLOTH may be re-charged with TUF-GLIDE is totally
dependent upon the user. The average life expectancy of a TUF-CLOTH is
estimated to be 1 to 2 years, depending upon usage.

There is not now a Marine TUF-GLIDE. This is due to issues with the
chemistry. We have been experimenting with a formula which may provide the
performance we desire in a liquid form.
