Interesting Hatchet

It is a typical fantasy item, it isn't a hatchet as much as it is a distorted knife, the edge presentation is wrong for chopping which is fairly fundamental for an axe.

it looks like a wannabe wsk, tom brown tracker

doesn't look like a good chopper, probably not good as a thrower (depends on your skill too), depends on how thick the material is may be a good slicer. that would be the only possible use i could think of. it's less than a foot in total length, looks light-not good for chopper, could be used Ulu knife style. great for cuttin pizzas. might be good to keep in vehicle toolbox (for whatever reason). but heck for $10. get one play with it, find a use for it, modify it, give it a good work out and let us know how it performs...

I was never going to get one, I just though it looked kind of neat. I could tell that it was worth next to nothing!!

The website isnt called "Top quality hatchets", it's called "cheaper than dirt.com" :) though, it does have a cool look. I really like the Tom Brown tracker and this is similar.

I've handled these at shows - they feel nice but they're very brittle and not something I'd want to count on. Take the $9.97 and go to your local Ace Hardware and buy a normal little axe for the money. You can get a little Stanley axe for the same price.
