Interesting interview with Chuck and CJ and a quote

Good Story Dave!!! I wonder how much their overall sales went up?

Thanks. One thing I did hear in the interview was this statement by the reporter that's misleading. It gives the impression that Buck made all their products in China at that time.

"reporter: about a decade ago, Buck knives joined the manufacturing exodus and began making their knives overseas."

It should have been "began making SOME of their knives overseas" to be accurate and not misleading to those viewing the interview.

We just go on clarifying the China thing any chance we get. I did that in Academy a few days ago with a lady looking at a hunting knife for her son.

Of course I had a couple in my pockets and showed her the USA

I recently attended and had a couple of displays at the blade show in Pasadena, California. One of the highlights of the show for me was the 15 minutes or so that I spent with two visitors who mentioned that it was "too bad Bucks are now made in China". I asked them to bear with me and borrowed Bruce's new catalog. Those two and I spent the next 15 minutes or so going through the catalog page by page while I pointed out the relatively few that are imports. I also pointed out that at least two models have had their production moved FROM China to the USA. Both gentlemen left with a brand new perspective and thanked me for showing them the truth.
