I was linked to this website from another thread on here, and found this knife:

Now, the sheath looks like a piece of crap, and in the closeup picture, the finish looks kind of crude, but I like the visual aspect of the knife, and it looks like a practical design. I'm thinking of getting it for an EDC for the times when I'm in the mood to carry something completely out of the ordinary, albeit with a custom sheath. One thing though; considering the crude finish, the knife seems a bit over-priced at 100 dollars. Thought I'd post the link to see if anybody else here likes the look of this one.

I don't consider the finish on the blade "crude" and like the effect - no missing the fact that it was hammer forged. I have a nakiri with similar blade finish and honestly don't notice it in use - and it's a wicked veggie knife. Don't like those handles though - would have preferred it came from a solid piece of timber rather than a laminate.

I agree, the finish isn't necessarily crude, a lot of Japanese damascus knives leave the blade "unpolished" like that. I have a few Kanetsunes with a similar look.

I'm not a fan of cord wrapped handles, but the knife is pretty cool looking

It looks like a shortened, rough, forged version of Schrade's Sharpfinger. An archetypal blade style, no doubt. Pretty cool.

Bark River's "Fingerling" is sort of similar.
