interesting karda

The karda on the right (7.5") is accompanied an Indian made kukri I just received. Unique, but not as classy (at least to my eye) as the earlier example next to it, but would be easier to use.

Don't be in awe. I spend almost all my nickels and almost all my time searching and researching all things kukri and Gurkha.

Someday it will pay off in information.
 
I agree with your preference.....but they are both pretty neat. Thanks for the pic. Saved for future use.....;)
 
Looks almost like some kinda medical instrument. Between the long handle(for good ccontrol), and that nice slim curved blade, think i could perform surgery with that.

If I knew how to perform surgery, that is. :)
 
Great stuff as usual.

John has a perserverance and dedication I've not seen in many men -- or women for that matter. I sure as hell don't have it. And that's the reason we see John turn up all these goodies.
 
The one on the left is not only classy, but isn't that a large choil that would allow shortening up for fine work?
