interesting Kershaw kitchen knives?

i know they are incredibly well priced and each knife is designed for a specific task.

the steel is high carbon with some weird resin coating to avoid contamination and rust i believe.

cool idea if you ask me. definitely the cheapest kitchen cutlery ive found i might actually consider purchasing.
 
My mom loves them for cutting vegetables. She wants a very light, sharp knife, and she absolutely loves hers because it allows her to slice up everything very fast. :thumbup:

The coating is what they use use for car parts, at least that's what I've heard.
 
I have the fish one, and it is awesome. I have higher end knives - Professional S, some older Henckels - but this is my go to knife most of the time.

Edge steels up in a hurry and the ergos are GREAT!!!
 
i am thinking of picking one up just so my parents can try it in the kitchen. They are cheap enough that it may be worth it. get them something other than that "forever sharp" crap.

I gave my mom some for Christmas. She loves them.
She has a birthday in Feb. I think she will get the other 3 she doesn't have.

May I suggest the Multi Purpose Granton Santoku Knife Part Number: KSAB2200.

That one is my favorite.

that one would be perfect jason. i will show them to my parents this weekend just to get their opinion on them. i know what I would do, but i dunno what they will do. they "like" their "forever sharp" crap. stupid things cant even open a bag of pizza rolls without tearing the bag....

I used my JYDII CB to do that yesterday. The bag didn't tear.
