My father used to receive a variety of pocket knives at his last job in Oklahoma. Most were key-chain sized SAKs and personalized lockbacks with the company name on it, but this one sticks out to me because of it's opening mechanism. As a kid I always thought it was really cool. Here are some photos:

Does anyone know of higher end knives that use this design? I've always liked it.

I always loved this design. when i was growing up these were often given away by parts stores. my first one was red and from j b cooks in hope. i wore that thing out. I've never seen a higher end knife made like it. I think a titanium body with one of the current wonder steels would be really nice. later, ahgar
