got a new knife here fellows, and i have to say, i have not ever seen one like it. bought it at a flea market sunday. here is a description. it has the saw cut delrin handles, with the old timer shield in it. the blade reads "JOHN PRIMBLE BELKNAP, INC., U.S.A.". on the back of the blade is # 935. can anyone shed any light on this knife? thanks in advance guys!

AWESOME INFO!!! thanks DANNO!! never knew the history of it. i have seen j. primble knives in hardware stores and such, but never paid much attention to them, but when i seen this one with the old timer shield, i couldnt turn it down for the price. thanks again for the info!

Your knife was made by Schrade for Belknap Hardware. The Primble Old Timer 934 is the same knife as the Ulster 58OT.

Here are the three Primble Old Timers that I'm aware of, and the corresponding Schrade OT model number:
Primble Old Timer 933 = Schrade 108OT
Primble Old Timer 934 = Ulster 58OT
Primble Old Timer 935 = Schrade 8OT

Search the forum for "Primble" and you'll find a lot more information about Belknap Hardware and John Primble brand knives.

Best Wishes,
-Bob
