Interesting package delivered today. Very nice NIB fixed blade.

Comparison with a 105.
Tang stamp of new knife

Everything but stamp screams 102 which is what I wanted.
Guess this one was Friday afternoon or Monday morning production run.

May be worth the time to reach out to the moderator to see if he can get a number of how many were done like that. An oddity like that is worth hanging on to.

I'd bet not all that many. don't know how many they mark at a time, but can't be much considering how many 102s are out there.

I wouldn't sell it either. good one for the collection.

I was just checking, we had sold those at our booth during Western Hunting Expo, NRA and Blade Show this year as a "near perfect" product. Glad you got your hands on one. There was about 250 that were stamped incorrectly but were finished out and sold at those shows and in the Factory Store.
