Interesting new knife...

My sister-in-law was in Tanzania last month for a mission trip, and brought back a couple souvenirs for us. One of them was this knife, which a google search tells me is a 'masai knife'. Not sure if that's 100% accurate or not. Anyway, thought I'd share a couple pictures.





While it appears to have somewhat of an edge, it's actually about as dull as a doorknob. I may have to attempt to sharpen it...
 
I brought a few of those home from Kenya. The Masai are a group of people who once roamed the Masai Mara which is a large expanse of plains that goes from Kenya into Tanzania. I bought one of their machetes too.

They are pretty neat but I think are mass produced by the locals for the tourists.
