Just came through 3 hours of no power (vicious thunderstorm). Anyway, with the help of the Energizer bunny, I spent the time diving into a book I recently acquired.
I think anybody interested in plants - foragers, naturalists, etc. will find this book quite interesting.
It covers quite a few plants that grow in our collective areas, as well as common, everyday plants that we (shouldn't
) take for granted.
Even if you find no direct application from the information within, I think it might cause you to look at the plant world in a whole new way.
Also a new book for foragers, written by John Kallas, called Edible Wild Plants. - excellent. Looks like it might be the first of a series.
