KA5601: The Adventure Baconmaker

The Baconmaker -- the more aggressive Adventure blade -- is the ideal knife for hog hunting. Crafted from 1095 cro-van, this beast is built to withstand any abuse and never fail. The hollow ground blade maintains razor sharpness while the knife's overall geometry provides optimum thrusting power, perfect for sticking hogs. The glass-filled nylon handle gives you unmatched control, thanks to an ergonomic multi-position handle that's been finished with our proprietary Adventuregrip texture.

The sheath is specially designed to offer multiple carry options, including MOLLE< and its roomy stuff sack is perfect for hunting necessities like rubber gloves, sharpening utensils, Adventurecord or anything else you need to Own the adventure!

The Piggyback -- the smallest Adventure blade -- cuts like a knife twice its size. It takes no more room than a medium-sized folding knife, and its deep belly shape and short clip point are designed for "unzipping" game. Grip points on the spine allow for even the most delicate work and the knife's simple design makes cleanup a snap.

The Piggyback comes standard with the Potbelly and the Baconmaker.

I like the blade shape and handle, overall it looks very usable.
I also like the sheath better than the hard ones that are mostly used for fixed blades today.

They look pretty nice. :)

That top one looks kinda thin for heavy work though....

this beast is built to withstand any abuse and never fail

Ok, let me have it for about 15 mins and we will see. ;)

Bet I can snap it inside 5 mins with no vice and hammer. :D

jill i agree its one sexy knife & if the heattreat is up to ka-bar standards should make a good stabber. the big rage in texas now is killing hogs with a knife. dogs wearing kevlar vests immoblize the animal while the hunter executes the fatal thrust. certainly not a new practice [it has been done for years] , recently it has became more popular. one of the texas outdoor mags featured a story with a lady hunter doing the deed.most of the knives i've noticed being utilized are 7in. or slightly less. i'm too stiff for this dance but hope the youngin's get into it. we have a severe agricultial damage proglem from hogs. reputed to be smarter than a german sheapard with hardly any natural enemies these pests are everywhere. trapping ca'nt make a serious dent & the use of dogs which is the most effective means is expensive. the state even has resources using helicopters & automatic weapons if you can afford the price.some of the more affulent landowners have done this now for several years. hogs have great noses & ears but poor eyesight.with the capacity to have babies twice a year hogs are winning the war. mods i did'nt mean to go off like this but could'nt see much use for the knife except hogs.
