Khuk I picked up this week, for about what you'd pay for a six pack of microbrew.
The handle is wormy and ugly, but solid and comfortable, and the 13" blade is 1/4" at the bolster tapering to 1/8" at the tip. Rings like mad when it touches something.
Looks like it was scraped to shape (like the Japanese do) rather than ground. Deep, wide fullers, 12.5 oz.
Funky, funky khuk. I'm thinking about rehandling it. Thoughts?

Really fine score! Looks like Victorian Bojpure but thinner and shorter and faster? I like the Cho. Rehandle might be cool but I bet you could recreate that one then beat the crap out of it:D If I recall you already have one close to it tho.

I don't think it's too old 50's or 60's-brass bolster and all- but it is light and quick. I'll try filling all the cracks and holes before I knock the hilt off.

Hmm, interesting, Not sure what the cost of micro brew there is. in the PNW region microbrew seems to be really wide range of prices from reasonable to seriously expensive for some of it. Though they do a good job and it is almost as good as real beer (I am a German beer and English Cider snob) But Whatever a sixpack costs that appears to be a GREAT deal. I would say if you can get the handle off without damaging it too much more then maybe just work it off then make a nice new one in a similar style. It looks like it would actually be pretty comfortable particularly if the blade is as light as it sounds.

Old and nice one, thank you for sharing
