I got my Para2 in Friday of last week and have been able to get in some pocket time this week. I was gonna do a little write up with pics of it and make an attempt at a first review and I may do that this weekend.

BUT, I figured I would share what I managed to do with it just a few minutes ago. I went back to the fridge in our office's kitchen and was going to get a bottle of water. I opened the door and what did I find? Whoever got the last bottle of water didnt put another case back in. So I grab another case and put it up on the table to open it up and I pull out my hair popping sharp Para-Military 2 to cut open the plastic before I slide the case in the fridge. About the time I push the blade through the plastic to cut it across the top length of the case someone walks in and says something and what do I do? I turn my head away from what I am doing and procede to cut the plastic. Luckily I didnt get bit. The water bottles on the other hand...I managed to hit all 6 bottles in one row with a cut about an inch deep.

Careless on my part, kinda funny, and a good show of blade edge from the factory because I didnt feel any resistance from the bottles.

I'd keep this on the down low. You could lose your knife card for that. What if you'd have seen a mouse? Being so on edge, you might have decapitated yourself! :D

Haha, just wasnt paying attention. No edge today, just relaxed and ready for the weekend.

Hahaha I know at least three people and myself that have done that. First and only time for me was with my first decent knife I underestimated the sharpness. Nothing I could do except laugh at the situation and drink about 6 bottles of leaking water.

I was absently flicking open and shut my new Para2 with the lock, suddenly I felt a wet sensation on my left hand (the hand i used). I looked down, and it was covered in blood. I washed it off, and saw the tip of the knife made two dozen little nicks in the skin. I didn`t feel a thing. That Para 2 is SCARY sharp.

We'll be waiting for you're review,I'm glad you weren't trimming lose threads on yer fly.

I actually cut the sides of two cans of Coke Zero. They were in a flat and I used my Serrated Pacific to cut the plastic. It went thru the plastic, thru the cardboard and slit the cans. I didn't even notice until I saw the Coke spray out. Incredible edges on Spyderco knives.

Glad I'm not the only one who has done this.

And as for the review, I will try and have it up next Sunday. I have a busy schedule lined up this week but maybe next Sun afternoon I can sit down and get pics and a writeup to post.
