I did something for a friend and they have offered to pay for any knife in BUCK's line. I feel like a kid with a hundred dollar bill in their hand standing in a penny candy store. I dont hunt or camp and have no use for a tactical knife and have no idea what to get! Any ideas?:confused:

About 1000 ideas:D

Well the 110 Chaiman is brand new, can never have too many 110's

Choice 1 for your parameters - A model 55, from the jigged Buffalo horn series. A picture is available on the Buck Website specials page. Perfect high class, just big enough to do anything, small enough to carry everyday knife. That looks high class.

Choice 2 for most of your parameters - Its not a tactical, but has a pocket clip. Small Vantage Pro, fancy steel, fits the pocket well, can open one handed if holding something to cut with the other hand. Not real fancy looking but built of great materials. Sets in the pocket great.

If both of those are too big, then a 309 with stag scales, also visible on web specials page. Smaller two bladed, classic looking slipjoint with high class scales.

Many here don't hunt or camp, but that doesn't stop them from owning knives of all kinds.

I'd say get the knife that most attracts you......no matter if you have no use for it.

Hang it on the wall and enjoy looking at it.

:)

Wow, what fun! I'd go for something you could EDC with. I'd get a Vantage Pro or Paradigm Pro without blinking. Signed Mr Green.
