I was asked by someone at work if he could just dye the "entire" knife. He said he didn't have the right torx for it and even if he did he was afraid he wouldn't be able to get it back together. 
It's a titanium framelock from what he said, he didn't give me a name. If he just dropped the entire knife in a bowl of black RIT dye it wouldn't really hurt anything would it? I'd think at the worst the Ti would have a hue of maybe a light black but it'd do the job to the G10 for sure.
Interesting question for me, I don't really know for sure but if it turned out well.......who knows.
