Interesting SBT mod

What a cool knife!

I've been lurking here, on the Buck Forum for a couple of weeks (Hello everyone!) collecting data on the Buck #882 Tarani. I bought one this weekend at a gun/knife show, and I really like it. (I also bought a Strider DB, but that's another story.) I love my SnG, but I do have reservations about carrying a $400 knife. The SBT is the answer - thank you Buck Knives!!! It matches the feel of an SnG except it is heavier and the Zytel scales make it thicker. I've started wondering about sanding down or shaving the scales. I'm not worried about knife retention during wet conditions as it was designed. Is anyone doing this? Or, has anyone else thought about smoothing up the knife to slim it down some? Or, are future versions going to be "slimmer"?

I think that rework is total crap!

ok, just kidding. I really am trying to get you to fall out of love with it, so you will sell or trade it to me at the next Indy show.
