Interesting Schrade Info

A nice link. Australia, I think, has no indiginous cutlery industry to speak of, and Schrade knives have been popular there for many years. Again, an honest knife at an affordable price. Though with import/export duties, transportation costs, and exchange rates, Schrades have always been a bit more expensive there. I am not sure how the newer restrictive knife laws have affected the importation and posession of Schrade's fixed blades. But then, I am not up on Canada's and England's knife laws either.
