Interesting Sebenza Conversation.

I had an interesting Sebenza conversation earlier today. The summary of it:

Why doesn't Chris Reeve make a Sebenza in the Medium range?

Small: 2-7/8 inches
Medium: 3 inches
Large: 3-1/2 inches

I couldn't answer the question, simply, because I don't have a clue. We all know there is a market for this blade size...

I throw it out to the Forum. I couldn't find any topics discussing this either. Help!

I think that probably because the difference between 2 7/8" and 3" is pretty small and probably not enough to justify the expense of changing blade size. I think that the current line of product from CRK covers the spectrum nicely.

I posted a while ago about an extra large Sebenza. Several of us forumites would like one, but I guess that a larger blade would put excessive strain on the pivot. If you do a search for extra large Sebenza you can probably see the response from CRK an the reason.
