That's a great site. Did you see the articles where he made the two knives from an old shovelhe found? He did an even better job than Aaron Hallam though he did have more tools.
 
Eric is a true wilderness genius. A modern day mountain man with some excellent stories and pictures.
 
I have enjoyed his writeings for a while now. He is one of the Hoodlums and his posts are full of usefull information. Great guy.
 
My wife got ticked at me that I was looking into the bedroll/trail tube combo right after I got a new $200 Gregory pack. I love his (relitivley) minimalist approach to his outdoor experience. That and I really like the FJ40 truck.
