Was thinkin a while back of would'nt it be nice if us Busse nuts could trade in amongst one another without havin to post on the trade forum.I understand the not sellin in the forum but what about trades and I dont mean to clutter up the forum but for example IF I had a 1st run BM made out of gold plated infi I would rather a fellow Busseite get it first than someone just tryin to turn a buck.I also probably dont understand how everything else works as far as the politics on the forums but would it not be nice to be able to tell everyone here,"hey I got somethin I want to trade",I dont know am I way out of line here or what?
 
Yeah that would be nice. Two way messaging like
AOL's system would also be nice.

To be honest I wouldn't be excited about the trading on this forum at all. But then again I'm biased as I'd be the one that would have to monitor it.

However, since Bravado mentioned two way messaging I've thought it would be fun to set up a Busse Chat, set a time once or twice a week and all the Busse fans gather for Chat.

Doesn't have much to do with trading but it would be fun. :D:D
 
I could be wrong, but isn't it against Bladeforum's policy to trade in any individual forum???

Chat sounds like a cool idea!!:D
 
The Emerson guys faced the same situation and the USN was born.
 
This came up also at Busse Combat's forum. For some reason it didn't catch on. Why not have a trade/sell forum at Busse Combat.com?

Besides, I am willing to trade any Buck 110s for a Busse! :D
 
I agree. There should be some sort of trading/for sale forum soley for Busse Combat. With all of the computer expertise here in the forum (you guys aren't shy about admitting it) what do you say one of you take the lead, and set up a site. If it catches on you will go down in Busse history.:) :) :D ;)

I'm with Eric. You guys sell the two of us all your Busse's you don't want anymore and then everyone will be happy. I don't know about you, but I tried to sell a couple of the little buggers and they wouldn't leave their brethren. Darndest thing I ever saw. They ran all my Ek knives out of the safe and right onto ebay. As soon as Jerry unleashes the almighty folder, I am sure my Al Mar SERE2000 with be wimpering in a corner.

I agree Eric, it would be very hard to manage....but, it would be great! I am always too late on Busse blades on the BF forum.

I do remember seeing a FS by one of the gang here, it said something along the lines of;

"Will sell to Busse forum members only........."

I thought that Spark or others would frown on that but I do not think there was any negative feedback.

Interesting.....What about Jerry sticking something over on the Busse Home Forum?
