Man that's awful. It looks like the cops hurt themselves ramming him at the end too.
You have to wonder who he was. He had a tough mind and seemed to know how to engage people tactically. He managed to survive a shootout with armed police and get back in his car and keep going. The only way they were able to finally stop him was to ram his car.
that's a tough, smart, well-trained bad guy.
My first thought was " is this guy a cop gone bad?"
He acted like one, to tell you the truth.
