It's interesting watching the wheeling and dealing people do in the exchange area. I followed a couple of knives and they bounced between 5 people in a matter of weeks. I wonder if it's because people end up not liking the knives they bought, or if it's just people trying to make a buck.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with it, but it would seem to me that if you constantly buy and sell knives, especially at a profit, that would make you a dealer.

Or is that the way it's always been?

RC,

If it bounced around among 5 different people, weren't much money made. Hardly dealer stuff.

. . . but it's a great way to try out different knives, learn and not lose a lot of money!

It is a sickness.

I watched one guy sell one knife to one guy and the same day he bought another of the same knife at the same price that he sold the other identical knife for.

I am not sure what that is but it is not business. It has to be a sickness.

The guy might not be making a lot of money but look at the volume of his business

I went to the post office the other day, cashed a money order and turned around and bought one for almost the same amount and out it went for something else!!

Oh well ! not a dealer to be sure! but it is fun trying other knives to see just what they are...
