I have come accross several good sites, most suggested on BF, but here is one I have not seen linked on this forum yet:

http://www.m4040.com/Survival/Survival.htm

There is a link on there to download the US Army Survival manual as an MS Word document. I have seen it as HTML and each Chapter as seperate PDF files, but here you can get the whole thing in one file. I am not sure if it is legal to download this way or not.

I must of missed your post. I must say, I have got several good sites linked from this forum. I'd hoped I was contributing something new, guess not :( .

It's a great site. I first found it a couple of years ago. It never hurts to be reminded of a good thing. Thanks Will, and welcome to Blade Forums.

How about that $20 Ghurka the guy customized eh?

I went there and couldn't read, because he had something that would follow my cursur ( or whatever), tell him to turn off those bugs that follow you on the site.

Don't use Internet Explorer and you won't get those silly cursors. Firefox works fine with it.

Edit: while we are on the topic of good websites with info:

This contains many U.S. Army manuals. I got it from another website the other day. At least I think I did..could have been this one. heh.

Yea, I posted this link first, before your post... knob.:jerkit:

Yep, that's sarcasm... who cares if you posted the link before, obviously it's new to him...

Thanks, one of the best sites I've been to in quite some time. The guy has a great way of expressing his views. :D
Very informative and funny. His modified kukri is something I may try out in the near future. Great winter project.
