That is one awsome aircraft... I've not looked at the rest of the site but I remember this plane from pics long ago; Howard Hughs was a Houstonian you know. It is really cool to see it is still airworthy!!
So are you a Turkish National??? If so your our most "far flung" member!! So how is the forge coming?? how much time difference is there between US central time and Turkish time???

I felt strange when i saw this aircraft. I have fobia of flying, but now there is an urge to fly in this beauty.

Yes mitch i'am Turkish National. If its right that i am the most remote, i will be proud. Thats why i feel so lonely here, now i figure ;) .

Forge is rough to build. Here its impossible to find the necessary equipment. i.e. I had to forge my 1-1/2 to 3/4 reducer bell as there is only plain reducers here. Welding, cutting! :mad: .

I cant wait to heat treat the half made knives accumulated on my workbench.

I think the difference is 6 or 7 hours. Now its 3:27 AM here....
