Spark,

I see that this software now even supports subscription payments via Moneybookers (same procedure as Authorize.Net) and that they accept foreign Credit Cards.

What's the chances of enabling an extra vendor, for us for'ners?

I'm not paying a seperate fee, merchant set up fees, processing fees, gateway fees, and all the rest for international subscriptions. Not right now at least. If I felt like going back on my "don't support anti-gun companies" principles, I'd accept paypal and that would be the end of that.

How about you charging 3% extra for payments by Paypal and then donating that to the NRA :D

I love that idea, but unfortunately Bladeforums isn't small enough to sneak under the radar. Paypal actually does terminate the relationship with people who violate their policy when they catch them at it.

OK, third time lucky (maybe):

How's about Spark enabling PayPal, and if international subscriptions prove a hit, donating a symbolic sum to the NRA? I mean if the money's going into the site then he's actually enabling folks to learn about knives (and guns), so what better way to stick it to PayPal?

Sorry, if I'm going on about this but it really is a schlep to subscribe manually.

So you are saying I should sacrifice my integrity for cash?

My apologies, but it sounded like you were expressing doubts about your PayPal policy and I saw the BF Auction thread going on Ebay (they own PayPal) so I guessed... but if you feel that your integrity is at stake, then the answer is obvious.

Personally, I don't see a problem if you're using the bucks to host a site that is in fact helping counter the "anti-weapons" mentality that you're boycotting PayPal for.

Paypal actively contributes money to causes that would eliminate firearms from the US if not the world. I don't support that, so I refuse to use Paypal

I got it. Thanks for taking the time to explain. I shall not pursue this matter any further. Thread closed.
