  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Have a chance to buy a house in a kinda rural part of northern Alabama. To make it doable I need reliable internet greater than 75 mbps in order to work from home. What do you use?and how is it working out? I have to call a frw places tomorrow but all I see right now is satellite at 25 mbps. Thanks for any feed back

I use ATT U-verse, but I am in the greater Birmingham metropolitan area. I am not savvy enough to know how it would work over their 4G phone network.

May want to post a zip code, so people would know where you're looking. I would think a mobile hotspot from a carrier with towers in the area would suffice.

I don't know about providers but I just got fiber optic and it's excellent (had dsl, cable, all that) and nowadays its as affordable as any other type.. if it's available to you, I pay around $55/mo for 500 down and 100 up, cables a close second though
