I've been wanting to do some interviews with people of interest. Post it here. I've always found them interesting myself. They would be in-depth, personal. Perhaps someone connected with Kershaw or Kai might be a neat start.

Was wondering whom you all might be interested in hearing about/from. Questions you would want to hear about and answered...

G and G Hawk.
Tim Galyean.
Rick Hinderer.
Your very nice and helpful customer service staff.

Totally agree, plus RJ Martin. Let's not forget Tommie and Jim.
Any of your current and future designers would be great.

It would be interesting to hear from some of the reps of your steel suppliers. (Jerker had contributed quite a bit of interesting content back when he was posting).
Also it would be interesting to hear from the people that do the coatings.

I'd love to see you interview the designer of the new Shun Fuji line.

Questions should be really really hard hitting and always include things we all want to know like: "How much of, and what kind of alcoholic beverage would it take to liberate a proto?"
;)

I don't know if this sounds boring but I would really like to hear from the employees, especially the ones that have been there the longest. How long have they been with the company? What is their role in the company? What knife do they carry and why? Maybe a pic of them with their knife/knives? Those sort of questions. I always find that some of the most interesting people are the folks you never hear about. I bet they have some great stories.

I would like to hear from Tommie Lucas! (the in-house designer that designed the Skyline).

YOU!

day to day operations?
the stages of knife production, from concept to final production?
how you decide what goes "limited" or to a full run production?
testing? materials? blade finishes? colors?

The people behind Kershaw. From top to bottom.

Another vote for Grant and Gavin Hawk. Two of the most down to earth people I've ever met. Would love to see some in depth interviews about some of their mechanisms, which are always VERY cool and imaginative.

I also like the idea of employee interviews. I'd like to hear from say, the guy who puts bevels on the blades and the one who oversees handle finishing, or final sharpening. Day to day operations at the factory are very interesting.

Let's hear from the great ladies and gents that operate the best customer service around...

This is what interests me as well  And of course someone interviewing Thomas as well.

What about Thomas Welk? You have a rather interesting and unique history in this business. Why not post your resume for starters?
