My wife just bought me an Intrepid 1 for work. What a Gal! What a knife. I started out years ago with a 110 that my dad gave me but I've always been interested in the nasty looking blades. The new Intrepid is so awesome looking that I just sit and hold it. I have only cut paper so far but, since I promised myself I would not buy a knife unless I was goig to use it, I think I'll take it out in the yard for a little defensive tactics.

Anybody have any feedback on this particular bit of Buck?

I like it but I guess I'm prejudiced. They are doing a wonderful job reproducing it.
Anybody else out there like it?

Yeah, I like them too. In fact I just ordered some more of them as they are pretty good sellers for me.

The chisel points don't sell very well but the tantos seem to do ok. My customers seem to like the big ones more than the small ones.

It helps that I like the design so it is easy for me to make the sales pitch. The chopping edge on the back of the blade makes a lot of sense to me and the whole knife just radiates strength. Good job.

"Radiates strength" That's exactly it. I've been trying to explain to my wife why I like this particular knife but I have been unsuccessful (surprise!). The best I could do was compare it to a shark that was on the TV. She agreed that it looked like a shark when I held it up and pretended to make it swim. Mr. Carson, you don't happen to get any of your designs from animal shapes do you?
