Tightwad is correct. I've had one for a year now. The primary edge doesn't cut as well as a Sebbie or a Folding Hunter, but it gets the job done. Watch out when you stab. The sharp ridges on the guard can be painful if you stab something hard and they are unforgiving on the front of your index finger unless you're wearing gloves. By design, the tanto point, thick blade, and top edge make it good for prying and cutting things like banding material. I haven't used it for chopping yet. I removed the standard G-10 sides and put a para cord wrap on mine, ala Strider, which makes it much more secure when wet or if you've got winter gloves on. You have to use the tie down for the sheath. If you don't, it unbuttons and the Velcro comes loose on the draw. The 420 steel is ok, but do a search and you'll learn it doesn't take too kindly to salt water. I've never taken mine there, but you will need to lube it now and again or buy some steel wool to remove small patches of rust.
