Hi Folks, I'm Robin from the wilds of Ontario. Thought I'd show you some the stuff I make. Hope you enjoy.

Best regards

Robin

First is a custom sheath for a Coal Creek forge spike hawk. Rawhide over 9oz veggi, black Bear closer.
Next is a hawk sheath and knife sheath decorated in the Lakota style, rawhide over 9 oz veggi.
Next is a Sammi culture sheath (my take on one anyway)) 10 oz veggi, inlaid with piano key ivory, pegged together.
A handfull of pocket knife sheaths.
Big chopper sheath in latigo and veggi. I did the handle in double layers of 15 oz boot sole leather.
And finally a mixed bag of stuff.

Hi Robin. You do some very fine work. Very artistically rendered period pieces. Thanks for showing these.

Welcome Robin...very neato cool stuff!
What kind of clip/belt loop do you use on your pouch sheath for those slippies?

Thanks guys, I really appreciate your comments. Rayban, I just do a simple foldover at the back for the belt loop.

Best regards

Robin

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm kinda stuck in the 19th century ;-).
The two hawks are mild steel folded with file bits forged welded in. The Buffalo skinner I ground from 1095 and did a fairly severe convex grind, the thing was like a razor. The long skinner is ground from a new industrial hacksaw blade and the pointy skinner I made for my 11 year old Grand Daughter (much to my Daughters dismay ;-)))

Best regards

Robin

Man - do I like that whole rig in the bottom pic. What a nice set up to carry. You would pretty much have it covered there.

Nice work.

Nice work Robin. Got the thin hunters hatchet done, now for a sheath. You have given me some ideas. I like your sheaths for the folders as well. Regards

Just got around to seeing your work. I have to get something made by you, I love the aged appearance you give to the leather.
