Very nice, I think you might be on to something!

Beautiful! Love the handle and transition to the squared bolsters. If I look at the blade and bolsters only I see a very monolithic, solid piece of steel but the transition to rounded edges of the wooden handle and the slight downward curve softens the entire look. Looking at each half alone I wouldn't expect the other half to be there, but you did a great job!
