Hi new here. Been lurking around for awhile. Figured I would finally join.
Recently got into collecting old axes and other hand tools and restoring them.
All it took was one Vintage Kelly perfect and I was hooked.
Here's a couple I acquired this week that I have no clue of there identity. The double bit doesn't have a single marking and the single bit only has a P stamped in its poll. Maybe somebody could help identify these.

Cant help you on the axe but hello and welcome to the forums!! Glad to have ya!

Ha! I just joined as well, so welcome . I don't know who made that western pattern double bit, but as far as the single I have seen some before and it has been speculated that they may be plumb but I'm not sure. I hope it can be determined for sure. As long as the steel has a good ring to it and seems fairly hard then I wouldn't worry ( but I know, it bugs me as well when there's an unknown to something )
