So, its been forever I've avoided owning a Busse. I'm not a tac knife guy, and I like thin blades usually, so it wasn't too hard for me.

But I've always liked the GW (and lately the Cultellus has been singing to me). Anyway, I bought a GW recently, an orange G10 handled .140" thick bladed beauty, and dag if I didn't really fall for it. That handle shape is subtle and really comfortable. Great job there. Today I couldn't resist a second one. (I've gotta stop hanging out around the sale section.)

Maybe soon I'll find a Cultellus that gets me spendy... Oh the humanity.:o

I'm making a leather sheath (or 4) for my GW. I'll post pics when I'm done with the first one.;)

Hey Fiddleback
Good to see you posting around here !

If I see a Cultellus for a good price I'll let you know..
you like the thin GW, you are going to love the Cultelli.

Welcome to the INFIdiction! And just wait till you give that little guy a REAL workout...beware, there is NO turning back!! :D

Hey, I don't need no other addictions...

Now I've gotta finish up a couple of knives to make up for the output. Luckily I've got several close to done.

Welcome to Jerrytown. Enjoy your drink!

Great seeing ya here Fiddelback, just wait till the Bussemuk gets out!!!!! Then you'll really be hooked;)

Welcome to the cult!! The cultie is a very sweet little knife, you must get one!! :)

I saww that Bussemuk, and liked the design. I'll be watching for it. Though, I'm very ignorant on how to get one directly from Busse. There's almost never any stock at the website... (probably a good thing, huh?)

Well if the Muk is releasesd it can go a few different ways.

Company store offering: this is where they will be offered at the company store until they sell out.

Production Run: this is when the official Busse web site offers them for sale for several months.

Ganzaaa: A random day is picked usually a Saturday. A wide variety of customs and other models are offered for an hour.

Blade show offering: Sometimes Jerry offers a special model at certain blades shows only.

Exchange:
secondary market with marked up prices.

Custom Shop: This is also an option. Call Busse and have them make you any type of blade you want. The waiting period can be a few months to a few years

Where do these Ganzaaa's usually occur? Here? On the Busse Website?

They occur on the main Busse Forum... Here !

Jerry will post spy pics a few weeks before hand with no price info or ganzaa date.
About a week before the ganzaa Jerry posts some threads listing all the blades and prices.
He will also post specific instructions on the sticky area of the Busse forum.

Once a date and time is posted, ie. sat 8:30-9:30 easten
You then need to wait for Jerry to post a thread that says GO GO GO !
Once that is done you need to email Amy and Garth for what blades you want.
It is fist come first serve. For the most part everyone gets what they want.

Here is an example of a spy pic thread from an older ganzaaa Spy Pics

Oh yea, The server on BF usually locks up due to heavy traffic in the moments b4 a ganzaaa..
Instead of waiting for the GO! on blade forums I go to the official Bussecombat.com forum and wait for the GO! The server is much more efficient...
