Hi everyone, I'm new to the forums, so I thought it only seemed logical to make an introduction/recent work "post." My fascination with knives began as a Boy Scout, and bloomed into a passion about 8 years ago. I started with rudimentary tools, kits, re-handling old knives... you name it. The end of 2014, beginning of 2015 the spark to begin creating something out of "nothing", and make something functional yet beautiful at the same time from only raw materials. I began learning how to forge & bladesmith, and later on in 2015 established Twisted Kilt Forge, LLC.
That's very brief, but I wanted to say hello and share some recent works. Check them out and let me know what you think! You will see the name "The Gerd" a lot, as that is my most popular design, aptly named after an incredible friend of mine. His characteristics of being loyal, strong, reliable, practical to name a few... deemed fitting of honoring him with beautiful & reliable 5.5" Hunter drop point.
