Guess I should have introduced myself before posting here yesterday. I've got several of the ESEE knives and the RC 4 in orange / green is an EDC. Anyway, the SERE 5 is one of my favorites, and I'd appreciate the add to the Rat Pack at some point.

No kidding, eh? Those stitches in the cut hand on the ESEE 5 bite thread are gnarly. I really like the 5, too. I've been around sharp and dull knives all day, every day, for 35 years (pro chef). I always remember to stay BEHIND the sharp part. That said, I still manage to to stick myself (or cut some small bit off) every now and again. Ouch! Rarely like that!

Try cord wrapping the izula ;)
