Went to the shooting range with a non-knife-knut friend on Saturday (noticed about 90% of the people there were firing ARs, but that's beside the point). He's a bow and shotgun hunter and he had mentioned that he needed to pick up a few new knives. I had been telling him about the RC-3/ESEE-3 for a while, but never got a chance to actually lend it to him. Once he got his hands on the knife he turned into a little kid at Christmas. First surprise (to him) was the sheath system. He's a MOLLE freak and couldn't get over how useful the sheath was. Second surprise was when he pulled out the knife, felt how solid it was, then checked out the wicked edge I have on it. Third was the blade shape and choil - he said he was ditching his skinning knife. He's been playing with it ever since. I hope I get it back.
