Cool pics Mist, nice loveless colors (minus the pins), nice trade. I need to get a "bush adder" in your hands. Finishing up a batch of o1 and CPM 154
 
Mist, I would have given anything to be there with you today over the day long meetings and conference calls I endured.

Thanks man! As much as I would love to hang out with you in the woods, lol, today would have been a bad day for hanging out. It was mostly work and little play...although my work is often much like play for me, so I don't complain, but lately I am in a race with time before all the snow melts :)

Ya know, I had always passed over it, thinking it really wasn't pointy enough for me...I do reeeeally have a thing for pointy blades in the woods, but in hand I find myself loving it. It handles very well, and is a stout blade which I like very much.

Yup, it's the perfect fiddleback.
 
Great pics as always mist. I swear if I'm ever passing through your area , I'd give my eyeteeth to join you guys for an outing; always looks like a great time!

Well...perfect is such a subjective word, but even with my fondness for pointy, the is compelling evidence to support your theory :)

Thanks man, glad you enjoyed them :) Well...if your ever headed up this way give me a shout. I don't know the area like the back of my hand exactly, but I know where some cool spots for hiking are :)
 
To me the Bushcrafter more than any other fiddleback says to me when I hold it in my hand "I live in the woods". Thats the best way I can describe it and when your'e Knives start talking to you it's time to find another hobby.

I think what I like most about Andy's knives, is the fact that every one I have handled is very much at home in the woods, and very user friendly. They all have a very natural, organic feel to me. Some of my favorites feel just as home in the kitchen as they do the woods, and that makes them perfect for me. I think I could walk deep into the woods with a KE Bushie, a Kephart, a Shank, or a Bushcrafter paired up with a Bishop, and forget the city behind me existed.

Oh, it definitely had a blast! :) Yeah, it's a redish orange I think, more orange than red in person, but capturing true colors with all of the UV reflecting from the snow can be difficult. The red look is the product of me adjusting the light and dark and color saturation to get the details to pop. And thus these coming off of the editing room floor :)

Yeah, having seen this handle config on a few of my friends Fiddlebacks is exactly why I was looking for this handle combo for what I am doing. I'm really liking it a lot.
