to my stick knife, today.
We are getting our house ready to sell, and a hackberry tree needed chopped down as it was encroaching on some red oaks in our front yard.
"Honey, hold out your hands.....close your eyes...."
Her response.... "Oooohhhhh, what's that!!??"
"It's a big heavy knife used to chop stuff down, like that hackberry."
"Oohhhhhh.... can I use it?!? How much did it cost?"
"Well, considering it is handmade, AND imported from Nepal with REAL buffalo horn grips, it wasn't very expensive..."
"Was it under $200.00?"
"Yes....."
Next thing I knew she was tossing little bird-house gourds into the air and cutting them in half before they hit the ground......

Oh, yeah, the hackberry.... it was about 4" in diameter, the stick knife handled it very well, had that thing down and chopped up in about 10 minutes.
