Hello folks,

I just registered here so i thought it would polite to introduce myself.

My name is Bas, age 25 and i hail from the netherlands.
I love to use/work with everything that has a blade attached to it.
I came here recommended by someone at Head-fi.org, looking for a Kukri.
Now i am looking for a sharpening system that can sharpen, kukri's, axes and knives.

One of my favorite sports/hobbies is the art of Katori Shinto Ryu, including iai-jutsu with a shin-ken.
Another hobby is scouting/scouts whatever the international term is. I have been there since i was 7 or 8. We have a nice small scale forest/wood at our terrain offered by the local authority to use at our disposal as long as we maintain it.

So far i only have blade items that actualy get used.

My humble, but wel used, inventory;
Buck 110 folder
Buck Camp Axe
Gerber pro scout 600
SOG Powerlock EOD
John Lee Musashi for iai-jutsu
Buck pocket diamond sharpener and a cheapo small size whetstone.
Yesterday i orderd this for small-scale foresting and camping.

Not much more relative to spill, but feel free to ask.

Greetings,

Looking forward to seeing the blades you acquire that don't get used.;)

Welcome to Blade Forums from CJ

Come on in and close the door:DWelcome-Regards Butch

I wondered what caused the draft.

Thanks for the welcome!
With some of my other hobbies(hi-fi headphone audio and RC-cars) i have to resist many a temptation since they are both relative big money pits. Still holding up nicely

This place looks like it has a more info than my gray mass can digest on a calm day. Should be able to learn a thing or two, and hope to contribute to the comunity.

A warm welcome from the Botswana suburb of Bladeforums. I have had many excellent years here.

Welcome to BF! BTW, where abouts in the NL do you live? (if you don't mind telling us, of course)
