I've been screwing around with my ideas for a survival rig lately, trying out different things and seeing what works and what doesn't.

This set up has been working pretty well for me. Not "everything you could ever need" by any means but it is a nice set of tools in a reasonably compact package.

Not finished, plan on using them alot more and I'll figure out things to add as it develops.

This is V-1 so to speak.

I call it my A.S.S. (advanced survival system):D

The sheath for the 3 is my second one and it's a world better as all the bolt ons were designed with this rig in mind so the 2 holes on the AH1 sheath line up and the contours match a little nicer. Both have Tec-Loks on the back.

Also played around with some paint. Not a huge camo guy but it's "ESEE-flage" so it's way cooler.;)

nice! that eseeflage is pretty badass. like the way you tied the ah-1 in too... i guess you've started getting more consistant with the arrowhead sheaths?

I almost expected a new tat and maybe ESEE thong over extremely white rear. What kinda paint you using.

Yea, I cut them out of some manila paper and used both pieces for a reverse shadow effect.

I think I have the AH1 sheaths to where I wanted them. I know it's frustrating waiting for me to do them but the more I screw with them the better they get. I learned my lesson with the Izula sheaths, the ones I make now are so much better than my old ones. It's a slow learning curve with kydex and each item you make is a new adventure.

Those look really good

Do you make the rivet pattern so that they will line up with the pouches

for the 5/6 that ESEE makes?

If not that would be a great addition to v2....

Looks good!!
ESEEfloge!!! Very cool idea!!
I may need some kydex for my 3!!

How does it attach to your belt? Tek lok or Molle Lock? Can you make something like this for a HEST?
