Hi there. I'm Rob, and I'm new to the forums and to the Becker series of knives. I've been collecting pocket knives for quite some time now, mostly Case, but also a few other more tactical style knives. Lately I've been really starting to look at fixed blades. I got me a Mora Classic#2 and a Mora 2000, then I went for the big boy, and I'm not looking back. I am loving the BK2. I keep finding reasons to pick it up. Anyway, I know you guys are big on pics, so here you go. I've replaced the stock scales with some wooden ones I got from an ebay vendor, and today I figured this would be the perfect chance to make my first paracord lanyard. I don't think it came out too shabby.

Grats on the 2, and welcome to the Becker madness.

Thanks for the welcome. Hey Warrior, is your user icon picture from Skyrim? I've been playing that freaking game almost nonstop since I got it. My wife has taken to calling it "that damn game."

Looks similar, but no, it's from the movie "Pathfinder".

Welcome and don't you dare tease about skyrim. I was waiting on the oblivion sequel for YEARS and right before it comes out I needed to sell my ps3. Grrrr. Nice bk2 btw. How do them wood scales feel?

Well when you get a chance, I highly recommend it. It's an amazing game. I actually think it's better than Oblivion, and I LOVED Oblivion.

The wood scales feel great. You know, I thought I liked the grip of the grivory scales ok, but I was surprised at how much better the wood scales felt to me. Hard to explain it, but it just feels right... grippier, if that makes any darn sense at all.

Hey Rob good to have you here... looks like you've been busy, not many first posts quite as full as yours..

looks like marathonman scales to me, I think he goes by mountainbiker or something on ebay??

good show, liken the liners too... nice.

funny that i was posting how i was new to the BKT world just a day ago with my new BK2. Sick scales man, that is one of the first mods that i plan on doing also! keep updated with pics and mods!

Howdy, and welcome.

Good lookin' blade ya got there, and a fresh start it seems. :D Its good to get away from the Moras and slipjoints for a while. :D

Stick around, it'd be good to have ya around.

I really like the wood scales on the 2, Like you said they just feel right. Not quite the same on the others though.

Thanks all. By the way, Skystorm, I'm the guy you just sent a sheath to yesterday. Can't wait to get it. This here knife is going to look great on my belt.

Welcome to the insanity room!

Nice looking scales!

Now go chop something!! That blade is way too pretty!! ;)

Love the scales man... Are you interested in making another set like them? If you are just PM me - I would definitely be interested.

Thanks

Steve

Nice looking bk2 man!! I agree on skyrim being a great game. I put in an embarrassing number of hours into oblivion. Skyrim has lived up to my expectations so far, I'm happy I got it. Like clich I had been waiting years for it!!!!!!!

Welcome to the forum, BK2 is looking sweet.

Were did you get those Yellow liners?
