I wonder how it handles being out of the water, heat-wise. The water functions as an effectively infinite heat sink. I mean, it's a small LED light running off of what looks like a single AA battery, so I guess it can't really get that hot.

I bet you could create some truly monstrous lights by using the ocean as a heat sink.

Anyway, this thing has adjustable beam focus? That's an important feature in my opinion. Lots of LED flashlights are out there on the market and they give off fuzzy light, so adjustable focus is important.

What's keeping it waterproof? Silicone grease? What's the depth/pressure rating?

edit: does it come in bright colors? Black is kinda bad. What happens if you drop it? You might never find it again. Neon green and/or glow in the dark might be better.
